This course introduces the distinctive features of a particular culture. Topics include art, history, music, literature, politics, philosophy, and religion. Upon completion, students should be able to appreciate the unique character of the study culture. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA as a general education course in Humanities/Fine Arts. The primary and unifying "culture" (focus of this course) is American Pop Culture from the 1800s through 2020.
